Dress FAQ

Q.  I'm interested in visiting your church, but I'm new. What do I wear to fit in?

A.  First, our spiritual needs, ( a relationship with God our creator and with other people ),
is the highest priority, so you are welcome no matter what's on the outside.
Second, we don't have a dress code, rather we would want you to dress in a way that you
are comfortable with. To help answer the question, most who attend wear casual dress,
shirt and slacks; dress; blouse and skirt or slacks, but this can range from jeans and tee
shirt to suit and tie. If we would ask anything it would be that your choice be one of
appropriate modesty.
Last, please don't let appearance keep you from finding fellowship here or in any place
that claims the name of Jesus.
Psalms 122:1, I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the Lord.,
(KJV).

At Bethel Evangelical Church as a part of Christ's body on earth our desire in this place
where we have been planted is to do the work Jesus has for us.  In the area of Christian
Education the words of the Apostle Paul to Timothy in the Bible passage found in
2 Timothy 2:15 "Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman
who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth." [NIV],
gives us direction toward our goal.  To understand God’s word to be able to live it day by
day facing the future with confidence and hope.
As individuals we gather to meet in various groups to better accomplish this.  If you would
like to join us in one or more of these, check the information at the following links to see
which are of interest to you.  For information not found there contact:
